Key takeaways
Arm VASER liposuction case: years of weight training couldn't get rid of her arm fat, and fat freezing needed multiple sessions. After an assessment with Dr. Kuo-Chun Liao, she had VASER liposuction on her arms. Afterward it was mainly swelling and soreness, with limited ability to raise her arms; bruising faded in about three weeks, and with LPG and lymphatic massage she fully recovered in two to three months with no unevenness or loose skin.

"I'm Annie, I'm 33, and I'm self-employed. I've done weight training for 7 or 8 years, and my arms have always been the hardest part to slim down. I hoped to build nice lines through exercise; every other area reached a result I was happy with, but my arms stubbornly wouldn't slim down. I tried fat freezing, but it takes several sessions to reach the result you want, so I decided on liposuction to solve my arm problem once and for all..."
Afraid to go sleeveless in summer, I even got hair extensions to hide my arms
Because I wasn't happy with my arms, wearing sleeveless dresses in summer made me self-conscious. To cover my arms I tried off-the-shoulder tops, and I even got hair extensions for the summer. With long hair I dared to go sleeveless, but it was really uncomfortable on my head... Of course I still wanted to look great in any outfit, so the idea of liposuction came up. After six months of thinking it over, I saw liposuction as a way of improving myself, so I made up my mind.

I followed VASER for years, and I trust NAISS CLINIC's plastic surgery expertise
I had VASER liposuction. I've always followed plastic surgeons abroad and knew VASER was already popular overseas 2 or 3 years ago, but there weren't many cases in Taiwan then, so I wanted to wait a few years until the timing was right. I had an aesthetic clinic I usually went to, but it's better suited to non-surgical treatments. When I researched online, NAISS seemed very experienced in plastic surgery, so I chose to have surgery here.

Dr. Kuo-Chun Liao has a great aesthetic eye, and we could talk easily in English
My surgeon, Dr. Kuo-Chun Liao, has a good aesthetic sense. Sometimes I can't express what I mean in Chinese, but Dr. Liao could discuss things with me in English. And every time I came for a consultation he was in the middle of a liposuction; it felt like if he wasn't doing liposuction, he was doing liposuction, hahahaha. So I believe he's a very experienced doctor, and a doctor's expertise is a key factor when I choose a clinic.
Diligent aftercare, and no side effects on my skin
I was very calm on surgery day, not nervous at all; I'd had surgery under general anesthesia before, so I knew the process and treated it as an ordinary day. I have a high pain tolerance, but when I woke up, my arms didn't hurt; they felt swollen and sore. During recovery it was hard to raise my arms, I couldn't tie my hair, and driving was a bit uncomfortable. The bruising faded in about 3 weeks, and I fully recovered in about 2 to 3 months. After surgery I had LPG and lymphatic massage on my arms and wore a compression garment for 3 months, and I had no side effects at all, no unevenness or loose skin. About a month after liposuction I started traveling abroad, and the difference was obvious in photos in swimsuits and dresses, with no editing needed!

Satisfaction close to 10! Firm, toned arms
I'm 4 months post-op, and I give it a 9.78~ Everything looks good on me now, and recently I started Pilates; even with small movements and no weights, the lines in my arms are very visible, which makes me really happy. My advice for anyone considering liposuction: aftercare is very important. I definitely recommend LPG! And keep a positive, steady mindset; you will have swelling and bruising during recovery, so don't be too anxious. You could have liposuction in winter, so nobody notices the compression garment~
