STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS
AM I A CANDIDATE?
Mild to Moderate Facial Sagging
Seeking a Non-Surgical, Quick Recovery Solution
Unsuccessful Results from Previous Lifting Treatments
Want to Improve Both Facial Contours and Skin Quality
STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS
STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS is developed by
Johnson & Johnson, the global leader in surgical sutures.
Made from medical-grade PDS (Polydioxanone) material, this
innovative suture features a patented 360° dual-barb design for
superior tissue anchoring. Compared to traditional PDO threads:
✅ 39% higher tensile strength: The one-piece barb structure
prevents displacement or breakage, ensuring enhanced stability
in deep tissue fixation.
✅ Exclusive antibacterial design: The suture is coated with
FDA-approved Triclosan, reducing post-surgical infection risk by
up to 70%.
Once implanted into the subcutaneous fascia layer,
the dual-barb structure immediately lifts sagging tissue,
delivering visible contour enhancement on the same day.
The suture gradually dissolves over 6-8 months, continuously
stimulating collagen production for results that last 1.5 to 2
years. Unlike traditional surgical facelifts, which require
incisions and extended downtime,
STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS requires only a 0.5 cm micro-incision,
making it ideal for those who prefer a non-surgical approach.

FAQ
About STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so only mild
stinging or a slight pulling sensation is felt. The pain level
is generally tolerable.
The results of STRATAFIX™ Symmetric PDS typically last 1.5 to 2
years, depending on individual skin type and post-treatment
care. A follow-up consultation every six months is recommended
to maintain optimal results.
A full-face treatment typically requires 8 to 12 threads (4 to 6
per side). For severe skin laxity, more than 15 threads may be
needed. The exact number depends on the doctor’s assessment of
your facial condition.
The insertion points are as small as a pinhole, and the wounds
are typically hidden within the hairline or behind the ears,
leaving no visible scars.
