What is
Saxenda (Weight-Loss Pen)?
Saxenda (Weight-Loss Pen) was launched in Taiwan in 2020 and
is certified by the US FDA and the EU. It is a legal injection
for weight control.
Due to its pen-like appearance, it is also known as the
"Weight-Loss Pen," "Slimming Pen," and "Little Blue Pen."
The main ingredient in Saxenda is Liraglutide, which is 97%
similar to the human appetite-regulating hormone GLP-1, but lasts
longer in action.
Injected once daily, it reduces hunger, increases satiety,
suppresses appetite, stimulates insulin production, reduces
glucagon secretion, and slows gastric emptying, thereby reducing
food intake and achieving weight loss.
The dosage should
follow the doctor's instructions.
According to large studies,
the results after one year of use are:
Average weight loss of 9.2%, maintained for over a year.
Average waist circumference reduction of 8.2 cm.
Significant improvement in various cardiovascular metabolic
risks.
