What is MINT LIFT?
MINT LIFT is a
non-surgical, minimally invasive thread lifting technique
developed by HansBiomed in South Korea. It utilizes
PDO (Polydioxanone) threads
with a patented 360-degree 3D helical barbed structure. Once
implanted into the subcutaneous fascia layer, the threads provide
physical lifting support to fix sagging tissues while
simultaneously stimulating collagen production, achieving a
dual effect of instant lifting and long-term firming.
PDO threads are naturally absorbed by the body within 6 to 8
months while gradually stimulating collagen remodeling.
Unlike other cutting threads,
the barbs of MINT LIFT remain durable and maintain strong tensile
strength throughout the absorption process,
minimizing displacement or breakage and ensuring longer-lasting
lifting effects.

Avoid taking anticoagulant medications (such as aspirin) and
consuming alcohol one week before the procedure.
2
Patients with facial diseases, bleeding disorders, or those
taking antithrombotic medications should not undergo this
treatment.
3
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, elderly individuals, and
those with malnutrition, weakness, or conditions that may
delay wound healing must inform the doctor in advance for
assessment.
4
Patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart or
lung disease, circulatory disorders, immune disorders, or
obesity must inform the doctor in advance for assessment.
5

inform the doctor for evaluation.
6
Post-procedure reactions vary by individual, and some
swelling may occur. Apply intermittent cold compresses for
20-30 minutes at a time. Wrap the ice pack in a sterile
cover to prevent ice water from seeping into the wound and
causing infection.

treatments for two weeks, and refrain from sleeping on your
side or stomach.
8
Avoid ultrasonic scalpel treatments within two weeks after

9
Avoid excessive physical activity for two weeks after the
procedure.
FAQ
About MINT LIFT
You may feel mild discomfort when local anesthesia is
administered. During the procedure, only a slight pulling
sensation is experienced. The pain level is approximately 1.5–2
out of 5.
On average, results last for 1.5 to 2 years, depending on
individual factors and skincare routine. It is recommended to
have a follow-up appointment every six months to maintain the
best results.
Typically, a full-face treatment requires 8 to 12 threads (4 to
6 per side). For severe sagging, 15 or more threads may be
needed. The exact number will be determined by the doctor based
on your facial condition.
The insertion points are as small as pinholes. After the
procedure, any minor marks are hidden along the hairline or
behind the ears, leaving no visible scars.
