Mentor Xtra (Queen Wave) Breast Augmentation Story: Chasing Western-Style Curves for a Full F Cup

Key takeaways

Mentor Xtra (Queen Wave) breast augmentation case: a D cup but not enough upper-chest fullness. After an assessment with Dr. Hou-Geng Liu and a 3D simulation, she chose Queen Wave implants through an incision in the breast fold. Discomfort peaked on days two and three, with drain removal the most uncomfortable part. There was no bruising, and she was back to normal in about three to four days.

"I'm Vivian, I'm 27, and I'm a technician. I was a D cup, but my upper chest wasn't full enough, and the clothes and influencers I like lean toward a Western style, so I wanted more fullness and longer cleavage so clothes would look better on me..."

I only hesitated for a month. With no fullness up top, I always had to push up cleavage for Western-style outfits, and it was hard work.

Why Mentor Xtra (Queen Wave)? How do natural breasts and implants feel?

After the consultation, Mentor Xtra (Queen Wave) was my only choice, because I liked the feel most, and its advanced fill means less rippling. As for fat transfer, transferred fat can disappear, and I wanted something more efficient, so I didn't consider it. For the incision I chose the breast fold. I'd considered the underarm, but then found the scar is quite visible when you raise your arms, so I went with the breast fold, which clothes cover anyway. I had a 3D simulation before surgery, but the actual result looks even better than the simulation; it exceeded my expectations.

I thought they'd be quite hard and very different, but three months after surgery the feel is fine. It's still a little different: natural breasts feel like soft tofu pudding, while implants feel more like mochi, but both feel nice.

The biggest inconvenience: bumping my chest all the time!

In the days before surgery I started eating lighter and going to bed earlier. On the day I wasn't very nervous until I lay down on the operating table, and then I got scared that the result wouldn't meet my expectations or would fail. I wasn't very afraid of anesthesia, maybe because I'd never had it and didn't know what would happen. When the anesthesia wore off that day the pain hadn't kicked in yet; I felt it more on days two and three. The most uncomfortable part was having the drains removed, but after that I barely felt anything. I had no bruising at all, just swelling and discomfort.

For three days after surgery I went back to the clinic for anti-inflammatory and pain injections, and two or three months later the doctor taught me some simple massage. The consultant suggested taking vitamin E and vitamin B. What I'm least used to after surgery is how far my chest sticks out: I keep bumping it in elevators, while eating and while doing things.

Full marks after surgery, and confident in Western-style outfits

I'm about three months post-op, and I give it a 10. I'm more confident, and the Western-style clothes I wanted to wear no longer gape. Friends have felt and seen them and think the shape looks great. If I wear something lower-cut on the street, quite a few people notice, and lots of eyes follow me, haha.

I found the doctor very friendly, and he discussed in detail what shape I wanted and what my ideal was. I chose NAISS after seeing an ad and finding the reviews were good, so I went for a consultation. Afterward I felt the clinic was lovely, the doctor very professional, the consultant very friendly, and the aftercare very thorough, so I chose NAISS.

If a friend wants to do it later...

If you want it, go for it! I'd first ask what shape and feel they want, then give them advice. As for discomfort during recovery, everyone's body is different, so it varies. If your budget allows, don't hesitate too long. Some discomfort after surgery is completely normal, and you're back to normal in about three to four days!
