"I'm Kai-Chi Yu, and I work as a content creator. I've always felt my thighs were on the thick side, and I'm especially conscious of my leg line in short skirts, shorts, or fitted clothes. I also wanted my breasts to be a little fuller and my figure to have more curves, closer to the hourglass proportions I like..."
My thighs were what I cared about most, especially in fitted clothes
I'm not really overweight, but my thighs have always been the part of my body I'm most self-conscious about.
Especially in short skirts, shorts, or fitted clothes, the fullness of my inner thighs became really noticeable.
Since I work as a content creator, I already pay a lot of attention to outfits and body lines, so I'd always wanted to make my legs look smoother, so I wouldn't have to keep worrying about them when wearing clothes I like.
Besides slimmer legs, I also wanted fuller breasts
Large breasts actually run in my family, but I only ended up with about a C cup, so I always felt I'd missed out a little on the family genes.
My breasts weren't small, but I still wanted them a bit fuller and a cup size bigger, especially so my upper-body curves would stand out more in fitted or figure-hugging clothes.
If I was having liposuction anyway, why not use the fat for my breasts?
At first I mainly wanted to improve my thighs, but during the consultation I also mentioned that I wanted fuller breasts.
Since I was going to have liposuction anyway, I started wondering whether the extracted fat, once processed and suitable for grafting, could be used in my breasts.
After a consultation and assessment with Dr. Po-Ying Lee at NAISS, we planned thigh liposuction combined with fat transfer to the breasts, so both areas I wanted to improve could be addressed together.
Following aftercare closely, my results held up better than I expected
After surgery, I realized even more clearly that aftercare is a really important part of the whole recovery.
I was very diligent about it. I wore my compression shorts as instructed, cared for the liposuction areas as the doctor and nurses advised, and paid attention to my daily habits. I also took vitamin C and my usual supplements to keep my body in good shape during recovery.
For me, surgery isn't over once it's done; recovery takes effort too. Doing all the aftercare properly and watching my leg lines and breast shape gradually settle made all that effort feel worth it.
Smoother legs, fuller breasts, and curves closer to what I wanted
Afterward, what I noticed most was that my thigh lines are smoother than before, and I no longer focus on my legs when wearing clothes I like. My breasts also gained some of the fullness I wanted, and I look curvier overall.
The biggest change is that adjusting my legs and breasts together brought my overall proportions closer to the knockout figure I'd always pictured.
Seeing myself move step by step toward the curves I like really makes the decision to have surgery feel worth it. Now I'm not only more daring with what I wear, I'm more willing to show off my figure. Best of all, I like myself more every day and have a lot more moments of confidence and happiness.
