There are so many ways to get breast augmentation, and you don’t know how to choose? Below we have put together a series of information, including tips for choosing a breast augmentation method, common questions, and our clinic’s recommended physicians! One article gives you plenty to take away and a clear direction! Without further ado, let’s start with the first chapter of this treasure of an article!
Part 1: Breast Augmentation Options Compared
1. Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation
Fat transfer keywords: VASER liposuction, natural-looking results, twice the result for half the effort, low risk of rejection. When it comes to fat transfer breast augmentation, you will certainly think of liposuction and fat grafting: excess fat from one area is transferred to the breasts, which not only creates a natural, full upper chest but also sculpts the body’s curves!
Fat transfer breast augmentation uses your own fat, which is highly compatible with the surrounding tissue, so there is no risk of rejection and safety is relatively high. After surgery, no massage is needed (and massage is not allowed), and the breast shape looks natural, without the visible edge or ball-like feel of an implant, so comfort and natural appearance after surgery are better. Choosing your own fat has another big advantage: because fat has to be harvested from the body, such as from the abdomen, saddlebags, waist and buttocks, it can also improve the distribution of body fat at the same time, creating a body-sculpting effect. However, fat transfer can increase the cup size only to a limited extent, so it is less suitable for women who are very slim or have too little body fat.
Goodbye Body Anxiety! Is Fat Transfer the Most Natural Popular Choice for Breast Augmentation?
Motiva 2.0 was just launched this year and has sparked public discussion. So what is Motiva, and what are its features? Motiva keywords: combines round and teardrop characteristics, bouncy feel, high safety, small surgical incision.
Motiva breast implants are a new generation of silicone implants launched by US-based Establishment Labs SA, drawing on its past 30 years of experience developing breast implants. They are recommended by top specialists worldwide and used in more than 60 countries.
Motiva implants combine the round and teardrop characteristics: disc-shaped when lying down, teardrop-shaped when standing. Thanks to the unique 4D flowing gel, the implant changes naturally with gravity and moves naturally at rest and in motion, just like naturally full breasts. In addition, Motiva has an exclusive patented silicone shell technology, making the implant highly stretchable, so only a 2.5-3 cm incision is needed, and the incision can be hidden in places that meet the patient’s needs, such as the areola or the armpit. The small wound shortens recovery time after surgery.

Mentor keywords: smooth round gel implant, matte round gel implant, mermaid teardrop silicone, Queen Wave. That’s right! Mentor’s keywords differ from the others because Mentor offers a total of four implant types, which you are probably familiar with. So what are the differences between these four types?
Mentor Classic: Smooth round– Available in 3 different levels of fullness, the result after surgery is as soft as a real breast, and the best cushioning space is reserved so the breast feels closer to real fat. The feel is softer than other implant materials, but diligent massage is needed after surgery.
Matte-surface round silicone: It uses the exclusive Siltex matte microtexture, a finely textured rough-surface silicone with a consistent texture depth that bonds tightly with body tissue, so it is less likely to slide or shift. It feels bouncy and needs no massage after surgery. Because the feel is bouncier, there is a gap compared with the feel of a real breast, so it is less suitable for those who want the most natural, true-to-life feel!
Mermaid teardrop silicone: Teardrop-shaped to match the curve of a woman’s breast, with 169 sizes available on the market. Combined with precise planning of the nipple position, it creates a perfectly proportioned breast shape, and it keeps its teardrop shape whether lying down or standing. It suits reshaping the breast and breast reconstruction after cancer. However, the feel is firmer and it is harder to create cleavage, so it suits those with a B cup or above.
Mentor Premium (Queen Wave): Queen Wave is a relatively new type of implant and one that many people consider. Using AI-based precision filling technology, it gives the implant better fullness and a more three-dimensional look, with a natural feel close to a real breast after surgery. Because Queen Wave sizes also fit the figures of Asian women more closely, it can deliver “natural, soft and full” results all at once.

5. 2023’s Newest “Bubble Tea” Breast Implant
Perle keywords: soft feel, 100% fill, lifetime warranty. Perle, launched this year, drew attention even before its release. Just how good is the “bubble tea” of breast implants? Perle has three main features: BioQ™ surface technology, enhanced Ultra-link™ shell, and Emumonimc™ breast-tissue dynamic gel.
Perle has made many technical breakthroughs and refinements. Its shell surface technology reduces friction and lowers the risk of inflammation and capsular contracture; the enhanced shell can withstand high pressure and has good tear resistance, giving Perle a “soft yet sturdy” character; and finally, the breast-tissue dynamic gel is a 100% fill, which helps reduce wrinkling and also has a soft, flowing quality, so in any position it naturally mimics the movement of real breast tissue.

Part 2: What to Know Before Surgery
Three things you must do before breast augmentation surgery:
1. Pre-operative consultation
2. Make sure you have a basic understanding of breast augmentation surgery and implant materials
3. Shop around to find the clinic and physician that suit you
Anesthesia and Preparation Before Breast Augmentation Surgery
Before surgery, you will undergo a series of general health checks (including blood tests, X-rays, ECG, ultrasound and so on). Once the results are in, the surgeon and the anesthesiologist review them together, with the aim of “ensuring safety during surgery and understanding your physical condition.” Breast augmentation surgery is performed under general anesthesia, so on the day of surgery we recommend having a friend or family member accompany you, or taking a taxi. Do not drive or ride a scooter yourself.
Fully Disclose Your Medical and Treatment History, and Any Drug Allergies
This is the most important part before surgery. During your consultation with the physician, be sure to honestly disclose your physical condition, including any hereditary diseases and treatment history, so that the physician can better understand your overall condition and arrange the most suitable treatment for you.
Who Is Not Suitable for Breast Augmentation?
1. During pregnancy.
2. Abnormal blood clotting: people with abnormal clotting may bleed abnormally during or after surgery. In addition to giving a full medical history, the clinic’s physician will still perform a physical examination and blood tests to confirm any clotting problems.
3. People with heart, liver, kidney or other major organ diseases.
4. People with severe diabetes.
5. People with severe hypertension.
6. People with breast cancer recurrence or metastasis after surgery.
7. People with inflammation in or around the breasts.
8. People with a severe tendency to scar heavily.
9. People with a history of severe allergy to foreign materials
10. People who currently have a cold or fever.
11. People who are afraid of surgery or not fully mentally prepared.
Dietary Precautions Before Surgery
1. Before and after surgery, first stop taking blood-circulation-promoting (blood-thinning) products. Taking them, or having poor clotting function, can prolong wound healing or even cause a hematoma after surgery, so you need to stop taking them both before and after surgery. Examples: vitamin E, ginkgo, fish oil and the like; Chinese herbs such as ginseng, dang shen (codonopsis), dang gui (angelica) and chuan xiong (Szechuan lovage); and medications containing aspirin, and so on.
2. If you smoke, stop smoking for one month beforehand, because smoking affects blood clotting and wound healing during and after surgery.
3. Fast for 6-8 hours before surgery, with no water or food. If you are thirsty, you may rinse your mouth, but please do not swallow any water!
What Should I Wear on the Day?
1. On the day, please wear a loose, comfortable casual top (a front-button shirt is best). Before surgery, a nurse will guide you to remove jewelry and other items (earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, contact lenses, etc.), removable dentures and underwear, and change into a surgical gown.
2. After surgery, the wound is immediately secured with a chest binder and elastic bandages, so you do not need to prepare a bra in advance!
Part 3: Recommended Clinic and Surgeons for Breast Augmentation
After reading about so many breast augmentation materials, you should now have a basic or even better understanding of your needs. Once you have the background knowledge, what you need is a “professional medical team” and a “medical-grade clinic environment and equipment”!
NAISS CLINIC provides a medical-center-grade operating room, including a “sterile, dust-free operating room” that has also been certified by a qualified third party, so every patient can have surgery in the best environment, lowering all infection risks and chances. All physicians at the clinic hold professional, valid licenses, and you can choose your attending physician according to your needs!
Before that, we still recommend visiting the clinic for a consultation and evaluation before making your final decision!
